irank tier guide
What do S, A, B, C, and D mean?
On an irank board, S is the highest starting tier, followed by A, B, C, and D. The letters organize your choices; you decide what the tiers mean for the question you are answering.
Choose a meaning before you start
For a personal character preference list, you could use S for your favorites, A for characters you love, B for characters you like, C for neutral choices, and D for your least favorite picks. State those definitions in the title or description.
Keep one criterion consistent across the board. A favorite character list and a gameplay performance list answer different questions. If you want to rank both design and performance, create two boards so readers can follow each set of criteria.
Customize the labels to fit the ranking
You can rename the rows and change their colors in the editor. Try descriptive labels when letters alone are unclear. For example, a character story ranking might use “Would replay”, “Enjoyed”, and “Not for me”.
Leave an image in the unranked pool while you are undecided. You do not need to put every character into a low tier just to finish the board.
Try a ranking with your own criteria
Choose a ready-to-use character template. The creation guide explains arranging portraits and exporting your finished board.
